A fanlisting is simply an online list of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are), they are just a place where you can sign up with other fans.

why?

Fireflies are my fave insects so far! I've been obsessed with them since I watched a scene from the anime series Rurouni Kenshin, where the protagonist leaves his 'home', and he embraces his 'girlfriend', let's say, by a pond full of fireflies... that's so beautiful!! I remember it was like... 4 years ago? Time flies fast, holy god. From then, I look for them around here in summer (1 or 2 when I have luck. ;__; There are some fields near my home which are full of fireflies in spring and summer, but they're... dangerous. >_>), investigated a lot about them (damn nerd)...
